Elk Grove Township Township is a local government entity and a source of support for those in financial, medical and basic living needs. In this regard, essential direct and indirect human services are provided. Direct services include general and emergency financial assistance, senior and disabled bus transportation, family counseling, youth services and a food pantry. In addition to these direct services, the Township provides indirect services through grants to organizations that provide local human services.
