Escorted Transportation Service Northwest (ETS/NW) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded in 2006 that provides reliable, volunteer-based transportation for seniors requiring escorted assistance to their crucial medical or dental appointments. Carefully screened volunteer drivers pick the senior up at home, drive them to their medical or dental appointment, wait with them, then return them home again. We ask for a $12 donation for each round-trip ride. ETS/NW covers a 160 sq. mile area including 5 major medical centers (Northwest Community, Lutheran General, Alexian Brothers, Glenbrook and St. Alexius) and all points in-between. Rides are available by appointment only; at least one week's advance notice is required for each appointment. More than 27,000 round-trip rides provided....new volunteers are always welcome!
